Inspired by his experience as a camp counselor, multiplatinum GRAMMY Award-winning artist Zac Brown, of Zac Brown Band, is the visionary behind Camp Southern Ground, the state-of-the-art facility that is more than the typical camp experience. Located on over 400 acres in Fayetteville, GA Camp Southern Ground will serve children ages 7-17, from all socioeconomic backgrounds, races and religions, with activities to challenge, educate and inspire campers. As an inclusive camp, it will bring together typically developing children, children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), learning and attention issues, social or emotional challenges, and those with family members serving in the military. Opening for summer 2018, Camp Southern Ground will host campers for seven weeks during the season, and when camp is not in session the facilities will be used to partner with military and veteran support organizations. $2 of every Zac Brown Band “Down The Rabbit Hole Live” ticket sold supports Camp Southern Ground.
