Day Two Snapshot - Southern Ground Music & Food Festival Nashville
The only thing that could have made Southern Ground Music & Food Festival Day One better was if we could have played the day over on repeat, so why not?! For Southern Ground Music &
Food Festival Day Two that was certainly what we did – just add in a
few extra details, and boom! We had our selves one unforgettable night,
again!
We
started Day Two at noon, tacked on a couple more performances and made
sure the weather was picturesque. The food trucks were busy dishing up
their finest, the bars were serving up only the best quality beverages
and the attractions showcased outstanding entertainment.
Music
that carried throughout the streets of downtown Nashville included the
best of The Wheeler Boys, edgy tunes from Vintage Trouble, the sweet
sounds of Holly Williams and the sultry tones of Dugas. Southern Rock
was strumming from the boys of Blackberry Smoke and Levi Lowrey who both
brought powerful sets to the LandShark Stage. A double dose of Clay
Cook won over the crowd of thousands with his solo performance. The
catchy lyrics of The Lumineers had the crowd singing along and Edward
Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros awed
the masses with their innovative stage presence and quirky crowd
interaction. And David Gray's soulful voice enamored the sea of
on-lookers. Then Zac Brown Band closed out night two in the the only way
they know how - mind–blowingly awesome. Joined onstage by John Mayer,
Sheryl Crow, Dwight Yoakam and Gregg Allman, the Super Sets captured all
things wonderful music has to offer all on one stage.
We
thank you, Nashville, for welcoming us with open arms, great appetites
and a thirst for a good time. We can only imagine what next year holds
for us when Southern Ground Music & Food Festival returns!
